Division 5 of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary 8th District Coastal Region operates in Northwest and North Central Texas, proving recreational boater safety education, vessel safety examinations & emergency assistance.  

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is a force multiplier for the United States Coast Guard.  As such, auxilirists receive extensive training in seamanship, piloting, communications, navigation, and search & rescue operations.  In times of emergency, such as hurricanes, tornados, floods or boating accidents, our members proudly answer the call to duty.
